As part of the health care reform law, the government established a new health plan information document called the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC). The SBC is intended to help employees understand and compare different medical plan options. It provides an overview of each medical plan in a standard format and is written in easy-to-understand language.
Attached are PDF copies of the SBC's for all plans under the Genesee Area Healthcare umbrella as well as a model memo that can accompany the summaries.
