    School Closure Counseling Support

    March 27, 2020

Good afternoon from Elba Central Schools!  I wanted to share a quick update so that everyone is up to date on what is happening.  Our faculty met with their principals this week and are continuing to ramp up our efforts to provide continuity of our instruction that we started since the closure.  Teachers and staff will be reaching out to you to ensure that students are making progress on their assignments and learning opportunities that we have provided.  We appreciate the support and reminders that our students need at this time.

The Governor of New York announced that schools will remain closed until April 15, 2020. We will continue our food distribution program, but it is important to note that we will only distribute meals on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays.  We will pack additional meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Wednesdays and Fridays respectively.  This allows us to provide breakfast and lunch five days a week to our community.

If there is anything that we can do to support you or your child, please let us know.  I am available by phone 585-757-9967 Ext 1034 or via email ndale@elbacsd.org
