    Greetings Lancer Families:

It is my honor and privilege to be your secondary principal here in Elba.   Before I begin, I would first like to thank our Superintendent, Mrs. Rosales, and the Board of Education for this opportunity.  It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter.  I will work hard to continue the legacy of success at Elba Jr./Sr. High School.

I believe in building strong relationships with students, teachers, staff, parents, and community partners.  As your principal, it is important to me that all who enter Elba Jr./Sr. High School feel welcome, and excited to be here.  This attitude enables us to foster a nurturing and positive environment.

For the past three years, I have been the Wolcott Street School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director in the Le Roy Central School District.  Prior to that, I served as a Career and Technical Education Assistant Principal for Erie 1 BOCES, and as Middle and High School Assistant Principal at Wayland-Cohocton.  I taught in the Genesee Valley BOCES Alternative Education Program before beginning my administrative career.  My educational experiences have afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being.  I am looking forward to jumping in, continuing to learn about the wonderful Elba school community, and leading our school in a positive direction.  I am passionate about developing positive relationships, working with students as they grow, and supporting teachers and staff.

I was born and raised in Genesee County.  My wife and I live in Le Roy, and we have two children.  Our son is in 9th grade, and our daughter is a 4th grader.  Both of our children are active in extracurricular activities, and I enjoy watching them participate.  We spend a lot of time together as a family.   I earned my bachelor's degree at SUNY Brockport, my master's degree at Canisius College, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport.

Please feel free to call or email me.  I look forward to working in partnership with you.  My door is always open, and I welcome your input.  Go Lancers!
